The egg collection tank is important equipment for tilapia cultivation. When tilapia fish eggs rise to a surface to be collected, eggs are collected with a collection device in a soft demeanor without damaging the eggs and kept in the collection tank. The objective of holding the eggs in the egg collection tank is disinfection and stocking.
Egg collection tanks can be made in square or oval shape.Square tanks, which are located in hatcheries as rootstock care tanks, are mostly square structures and shaped by rounding corners. 5-20 m3 or alternative larger volumes are produced.
These tanks and hatcheries made of fiberglass are easy to clean and uphold. Incubation tanks can contain 4 eggs. This inter-water flow is devise so that no air bubbles are forge in the tank.
